Grammar School
***2012 Hits Thermal Mid-Circuit Low AA Jumper Champion!***
2001 16.2 1/2 h bay Westphalian mare by Nation's Cup winner Gralshueter out of Traviata by Trajan. Grammar School was imported to the U.S. from Germany, where she showed in the young jumper classes up to 1.20m. She has gained years of invaluable experience and built up an extensive show record in the States, including top ribbons and Championships at the “A” Shows in the Childrens, Adult Amateur, and A/O Hunters, the Equitation/ Medals, and the Jumper Divisions.
She has a great work ethic, loves the complexity of the jumper courses, and can turn on a dime, making it easy for you to navigate any exercise, work-off, or jump-off on her. Her she is smooth in the air, and will leave from wherever you ask her to. Her gaits are comfortable and adjustable, and she has a motor to carry her own pace, so you can concentrate on your job. She is athletic, loves to jump, and deserves a rider who has the talent to move up through the levels to the 1.10M.
We would like to see Grammar School go to a rider who also has a good understanding of the technical aspects of riding. Although she is extremely tolerant of novice riders, she is so well schooled on the flat that she may be too sophisticated for some riders who do not understand or care to learn how to use their aids. With her knowledge and honest disposition, Grammar School will make a fantastic addition to any trainer's stable. She is a uniquely useful, first class horse who can perform for her rider in all three rings, and will surely continue to pile up the ribbons for her new owner.
